St Davids Cathedral and Bishop's Palace

Churches and cathedrals on the Wales Coast Path

The Wales Coast Path offers a rich array of churches and cathedrals that showcase Wales’ early Christian heritage. Notable atmospheric churches close to the Welsh coast include St Hywyn’s Church at Aberdaron, on the Llyn peninsula; St Tanwg’s Church, at Llandanwg, near Harlech; and St James the Great, at Manorbier. Best of all, though, is the iconic, 12th century St David’s Cathedral in Pembrokeshire.
