Towns and villages on the Wales Coast Path
There are lots of charming and unusual towns and villages along the 870 mile Wales Coast Path. A string of Victorian seaside towns along the North Wales Coast feature piers and promenades. Don’t miss walled medieval Conwy, Beaumaris on Anglesey, the Italianate fantasy village of Portmeirion, or the tiny atmospheric city of St Davids and its ancient cathedral, in Pembrokeshire. Harlech, Aberystwyth, Laugharne, Llanstefan, Tenby and Chepstow – all perched on the Welsh coast – stand out, too.
