Services: Porthcawl is served by bus with a full range of services in the main street, only a minute’s walk from the route. The town also has several hotels and guest houses. Ogmore-by-Sea has only a small shop cum post office and cafe bar, but accommodation may be found at nearby Ewenny. There is a pub, The Pelican in her Piety, beside the route at Ogmore Castle
