Services: You will find accommodation, a full range of services and road and rail transport off the route at Newport. There are pubs at Nash and Goldcliff, a caf. at the Newport Wetlands RSPB Reserve and light refreshments in summer on the coast at Gold Cliff. Goldcliff is served by bus, but has no immediate accommodation. However, there is a pub and limited accommodation close to the route at Redwick (but no bus).
