Rich and varied wildlife along the Wales Coast Path
From immense dune systems and salt marshes to vast, open beaches and intimate coves, cliff-top heathland and wooded cwms, the variety of habitats along the Wales Coastal Path gives rise to an equally wide range of wildlife. You’ll encounter red squirrels, wild goats, feral ponies, foxes and hares as well as butterflies and lizards. Keep your eyes peeled offshore, too, for grey seals, porpoise, dolphins and even whales.
