Services: Aberystwyth is the largest place between Porthmadog and Cardigan and has lots of facilities including accommodation, places to eat, cash machines, shops, public toilets and launderettes. (Aberystwyth Tourist Information Centre, Terrace Road | 01970 612125 | aberystwythtic@ceredigion.gov.uk). There are few facilities en route today, apart from at Llanrhystud, where there are shops, accommodation (including a campsite) and a pub that serves food. Llanon, at day’s end, has some facilities including accommodation, a pub, a shop and takeaway food, but the choice is limited. Aberystwyth is the last town with a railway station, but there are regular buses between Aberystwyth and Llanrhystud/Llanon
