Distance: 15 miles / 24 kilometres (or 18 miles / 29 kilometres )
Start: Clock tower at junction of A487 and A489 in Machynlleth SH 745 007
Finish: RNLI lifeboat station in Borth SN 608 889 (or Dyfi-Ynyslas National Nature Reserve visitor centre at Ynyslas – SN 609 941)

Services: Machynlleth has a wide range of facilities including accommodation, places to eat, cash machines, shops and public toilets. Borth has places to eat, a cash machine, shops, public toilets and accommodation, including several campsites and a youth hostel. The stretch between Machynlleth and Tre’r-ddôl is never far from the A487, so it is easy to drop down to the main road to find accommodation or catch a bus
